The violin is an instrument that is known for sounding like a human voice. When any musician chooses an instrument it is important that it reflects their personality. In Reflections Through Music, the pieces of the violin are lined with mirrored tape to create a sense of connection between the viewer and the sculpture. Above the piece is a directed light that shines down to Illuminate the shadow of a violin emerging out of the chaos above. This is to remind the viewer that there are multiple aspects to music; tonal, visual and emotional.
